About Us
We are amateur disc golf enthusiasts, based out of Coquitlam B.C, Canada, who started this endeavor to discuss, compete and promote the advancement of the sport/hobby of disc golf. This includes growth the sport/hobby and educate the general public regarding the physical, mental, and social benefits that disc golf brings to a community. The hobby/sport can be enjoyed regardless of age, skill, or even income level, and is capable of servicing a large or small number of people than numerous other recreation activities. It is for this reason that the FA community will make disc golf the topic of conversation and encourage others to implore further.
In 2017 Ryan Roberson, Tyson Ashford and Trevor Mackie started a WhatsApp group and started connecting with other amazing disc golf people. Over the years this group has grown and so has many friendships. While disc golf can be very relaxing and social, the versatility allows for competition. Frolfers Anonymous will conduct, host, and officiate disc golf related events. These events will serve to provide the FA community with increased access to friendly competition within the venue of disc golf.
